"I don't know where any of this is going, but it began because of you..."
Carrie Hubbard Pineau is a Clinical Social Worker and leader dedicated to guiding individuals and systems through change. With over 20 years of experience and dual master's degrees (an MSW and an MA in Thanatology—the study of death and bereavement), she brings a unique perspective to people working through trauma, grief, loss, and ultimately personal growth.
She is committed to supporting underserved and under-supported communities, particularly the law enforcement and first responder communities, where she is skilled at building trust in high-stakes environments. Carrie currently serves as an embedded behavioral health clinician for a large police department and has extensive crisis response experience from routinely partnering with police & public safety teams for on-scene assessments and critical incident management.
Beyond her clinical practice, Carrie is an accomplished organizational leader, having spent over a decade as a Deputy Director for a non-profit organization. She is also a recognized educator, holding multiple certifications, including EMDR, CISM, ASAP, and Trauma-Informed Care, and regularly presenting at police academies and CIT Schools.
Carrie is currently available to work with you through her trauma-informed practice, Huckleberry Wellness, offering:
Individual Therapy: Specialized, confidential clinical support for trauma, grief, and other challenges.
Clinical Supervision: Guidance and mentorship for pre-licensed or under-licensed clinicians
Consultation: Expert advice for organizations, particularly those in high-stakes environments.
