With a 20 years of practical experience and dual master's degrees (an MSW and an MA in Thanatology—the study of death and bereavement), Carrie provides a distinct, trauma-informed perspective for supporting people and systems in high-stakes environments seeking balance

Carrie is profoundly dedicated to serving underserved and marginalized communities, particularly the law enforcement and first responder communities. She leverages this expertise as an embedded behavioral health clinician for a large police department, where she is skilled at building trust and delivering proactive and need based care to public safety teams. during critical incidents, and supporting their recovery, growth, and evolution in the aftermath.

As a longtime educator and trainer, Carrie holds multiple advanced certifications, including Power In Peers, CISM, and Trauma-Informed Care. She routinely shares her expertise on trauma, resilience, and behavioral health integration through presentations and open discussions at police academies and Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Schools.

In her free time, Carrie loves being with her family and travelling—especially to Maine.
